In 1987, Mr. Eduardo Ngan Tian opened the first LOTS'A PIZZA outlet near San Beda College in Manila. The venture was part of a slowly expanding snack food business he started three years earlier in Virra Mall, Greenhills. At the time, Mr Ngan Tian, through R&W Foods, sold hamburgers, siopao, ice cream, banana cue, peanuts and other snack food items.

The pizza business proved to be a hit that Mr Ngan Tian and his wife, Tess, decided to focus on creating an affordable Filipino pizza tailored to the local palate. The result was LOTS'A PIZZA Franchise.

Tess, who was then working for San Beda College Alabang as Finance Adm. Director, was asked by Mr Ngan Tian to leave her job and focus on the business. After some hesitation, she packed her bags and studied a course on pizza technology in the U.S. at the prestigious American Institute of Baking where LOTS'A PIZZAs unique par-baked crust and signature sauce were developed. The winning formula was a success that the company decided to franchise the business in 2000.

Today, LOTS'A PIZZA Franchise Systems has 77 franchised outlets and 39-company owned stores. No pizza company in the same market segment can match LOTS'A PIZZA s growth and number of prestigious awards received.

The company has invested in the construction and operation of three commissaries to service its ever-growing operational needs in Luzon. The new Cavite commissary, which will be bigger than Pampanga and Las Piñas commissaries, is part of the company's expansion to the Southern part of Luzon and the Bicol provinces. More branches are expected as LOTS'A PIZZA builds its presence in Visayas and Mindanao.
