World Chicken was conceptualized by a group of friends who love to eat chicken. They are so passionate about chicken that they experimented with various recipes that met their standards. Finally, they came up with a truly global menu that would appeal to different tastes: the Create Your Own Platter menu. It allows fellow chicken aficionados to choose from a wide selection of sauces and sidings to accompany their excellent freshly flame -grilled boneless chicken. 
A lot of time and effort was given not only in developing the menu but also the quality of the product and service. One can have a great dining experience while in a food court setting. No wonder World Chicken became a phenomenal success when it first opened in Glorietta 4 Makati on October 1998. It is such a hit that up to now it is still No. 1 in sales! Other food court branches are in Gateway Mall, SM Megamall, Greenhills Theater mall and Pacific Building in Makati Avenue. The chain also expanded into World Chicken Cafes that serve a la carte in Greenbelt 1 Ayala , SM Mall of Asia, KPGM Building and RCBC Plaza both in Ayala, Makati.
