A desire to make a statement in the food industry of Cebu, Philippines, prompted two young entrepreneurs to start ORANGE BRUTUS in 1980. These entrepreneurs ventured into the FIRST HAMBURGER CHAIN in Cebu with the vision to revolutionize the food retail industry in the Visayas. This was a very bold step since hamburger was a relatively new food offered to the Filipino people at that time. The first store was opened in Colon, Cebu City and was situated in the newest department store then, Fairmart. It was a simple, bright, attractive and clean store, vending reasonably priced and good food to its customers. The main sellers were the charbroiled burgers and fresh fruit shakes.
Through the years, more food products were introduced including the best selling sizzling burger steak and chicken brutus that we carry now. Today, Orange Brutus is known for its healthy and nutritious food. The company makes sure to always prepare the freshest ingredients.
The burgers are charbroiled to ensure that the meat products are low in had cholesterol and are never pre-cooked. Only the freshest fruits go into the thirst-quenching fruit shakes and premium quality vegetables for its entree and garnishing.
